Quick Thought: Pray For Each Other

God’s Word warns us that we’re in a battle.

Every day.

1 Peter 5:8 tells us that we face an active enemy, who literally prowls around looking to devour us.

John 10:10 says this enemy’s goal is to KILL, STEAL and DESTROY!

Spiritual warfare is real. Most believers are familiar with Ephesians 6:10-17, which gives us the keys to fighting this battle to win. But we often stop one verse short.

Paul’s final instruction for successful spiritual warfare is to PRAY!

“Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.”
– Ephesians 6:18

Satan understands the power of prayer. Want proof? Commit to praying for 10 minutes at a set time each day for the next week and watch him attack your mind, your schedule, even your body.

Prayer–raw, honest communication and fellowship with God–is devastating to the enemy’s plans to take us out. It’s one of our main weapons.

Satan’s main tools are deception, distraction and despair. He tries to capitalize on our disappointments, difficulties, disasters and doubts. Trials and difficult circumstances are part of the battlefield.

So, let’s pray for each other! Please, pray for me. And let me know how I can pray for you!

Oh, and read 1 John 4:4 and take heart!!
