We want answers.
We’re impatient, even indignant, about where our lives are going and what the future holds. We want to know how the story ends, but there are still many pages to read first, and be written.
We’re stumbling around a dark room begging someone to flip on the lights, but say, “No thanks” to the flashlight someone put in our hands.
He said, “lamp to our feet,” not a spotlight illuminating our entire future.
How else are we gonna learn to trust God?
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
